The lawyers representing MyPillow CEO and Trump domestic insurgency advisor Mike Lindell in the Dominion lawsuit have failed to turn over documents and are missing meetings with other attorneys involved in the case, Business Insider reports.
In a court filing, the lawyers for other parties involved in the $1.3 billion defamation suit Dominion filed against Lindell and others said Lindell’s lawyers have missed scheduled meetings and calls to determine the deadlines for the case. This obstruction has already led to delays in the case.
“Lindell and MyPillow’s change in position on whether the Court ordered and the Parties engaged in a conference presumably reflects their effort to avoid responding to requests for production Plaintiffs served the day before,” said the filing signed by lawyers for Dominion, Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and Smartmatic.
