The 38 states which accepted federal money beginning in 2014 to expand their Medicaid programs as part of a key element of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, enjoyed greater job and personal income growth relative to the 12 states who didn’t, Bloomberg reports. Between April 2020 and February 2022, as the economy recovered from the initial job crash of the Coronavirus pandemic, the number of jobs nationally grew by 14.3%, but in the 12 anti-Obamacare states it was only 12.9% while in the other 38 it was 14.9%. An even greater disparity shows up when comparing Texas at 13.6% with Massachusetts at 18.3%. But socialism something something.
