Republican Nebraska Congressman found guilty of lying to FBI

Republican Nebraska Congressman Jeff Fortenberry was convicted in a federal court of lying to the FBI on Thursday, about an illegal $30,000 contribution to his campaign from a foreign billionaire, the AP reports. A federal jury in California found the nine-term Republican guilty on a count of falsifying and concealing material facts and two counts of making false statements. Fortenberry was charged after he lied in two interviews with FBI agents who were investigating Nigerian-Lebanese billionaire Gilbert Chagoury. The Deep State seriously kicked ass on this one.
