The Kyle Rittenhouse fan PC game “Acquitted: Self-defense vs the Braindead” developed by a Swedish game studio called “Nordic Empire” and released on the Steam platform really sucks due to its low production values and short length, irrespective of its inspiration Kotaku reports.
Made by a three man team, one of whom is the former press secretary of a far right Swedish party, the developers opted to turn the Antifa enemies in the game’s blood green to make them into “zombies”, ostensibly to make the title less “graphic”, a decision which kind of blunts the provocation intended by developing and releasing it in the first place, Kotaku’s John Walker writes.
The thing with right wing entertainment is that its audience gets into this habit of lying to themselves that it’s actually good because they see it in service of a greater cause – it appears that “Acquitted” is no different from a Kevin Sorbo movie or the jokes on Gutfeld! in that regard. None of them ever seem to want to address the question of if you own the libs by making this totally based PC game/Christian movie/douchey “comedy” show, wouldn’t you own them harder if it were good?
