The Mississippi Department of Human Services on Monday sued renowned self-penis photographer and former New York Jets Quarterback Brett Favre, former WWE wrestler turned Evangelical pastor Ted “Million Dollar Man” DiBiase, and three dozen other defendants alleging the assholes collectively ripped off the state for tens of millions in federal Temporary Assistance For Needy Families funds disbursed by the state to the ostensibly charitable efforts the right wingers had applied for, received, and then proceeded to misspend in what would be a head-spinning clusterfuck of hypocrisy even if there weren’t so many involved, the Mississippi Free Press reports.
While Brett Favre is the most recognizable name involved, special attention should be paid to Ted DiBiase, and his sons Ted Jr and Brett DiBiase. The guy’s whole persona in the 1980s – the “Million Dollar Man” – made him basically the Trump of the World Wrestling Federation. That he, now an Evangelical pastor and known Trump fan, and his sons be implicated in ripping off charitable funds is the most MAGA fucking thing ever. Ted Sr owes the state $722,299 for the scam, while his son Brett (also a defendant and former WWE wrestler) was indicted in a criminal case connected to the same fraud scheme in 2020 after spending $4 million in the funds, including $48,000 on drug rehab. Brett pleaded guilty and received a deferred sentence in December 2020. Ted Jr, another former WWE wrestler and star of the straight-to-DVD actioner The Marine 2 (John Cena starred in the first The Marine), yet another defendant in the civil case, owes $3.9 million.
Then there’s a whole shit ton of connections to former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant and current Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves from the other defendants, but the “Million Dollar Man” family still sticks out the most so that’s what we devoted the most space to. Read the complaint here.
