An unnamed ten-year-old boy from Lee County, Florida was arrested Saturday after sending text messages threatening a school shooting, WTVT Fox 13 Tampa reports. A photo from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office shows the fifth grader from Patriot Elementary School being led into the sheriff’s office in handcuffs. “This student’s behavior is sickening, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas,” stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “Making sure our children are safe is paramount. We will have law and order in our schools! My team didn’t hesitate one second, not one second, to investigate this threat.” Thanks to for the tip.
