“Clearly, we’re disappointed,” for Republican California Congressman and current CEO of the failing Truth social media platform Devin Nunes tells the dozens of people watching Newsmax about the acquittal of Durham target Michael Sussmann by a jury; note that Nunes doesn’t describe who the “we” in that sentence is. “This is not what any of use wanted to see as somebody who, y’know, it was our investigation that unearthed all of this, that then led to Horowitz that, y’know, who also found all of this, erm, very damaging information and here you have an acquittal by a jury wi–, wit–, with Durham’s first prosecution.”
Yes, it is true Devin “Midnight Run” Nunes, who ran to the White House to disclose information that was given in the confidentiality of a House hearing room, started the investigation that led to the disclosure of the inconsistency of Sussmann’s statement–which did not in any way adversely impact a federal investigation. Like all of the investigations “led” by Nunes or his gutter conspirator Jim Jordan, nothing at all came out of the political kerfuffle they initiated.
