A lawsuit filed against the Nevada Secretary of State earlier this Spring in Clark County by MAGA voters who wanted expanded and more intrusive access for “election observers” because “numerous cases were filed across the U.S. alleging election misconduct, fraud, and impropriety” and “numerous allegations of improper ballot counts arose… those allegations centered on the fact that many jurisdictions failed to provide the general public ‘meaningful observation’ of the ballot counting process,” per the complaint, was tossed pretty unceremoniously on Tuesday, with a Las Vegas judge ordering that the policies regulating observers remain as they were in 2020.
The original complaint is a pure exemplar of the cuntishness and arrogance of Trump fanboys and their closed-loop belief system. “Our own feelings that something wasn’t right in that election are all the evidence we need to demand that we be given more opportunity to interfere in vote counting procedures” is basically what they’re saying here. Not only is the “merit” of the case entirely self-generated, but they’re arguing that any asshole could sign up, regardless of any real qualification or experience so they know what the hell they’re even looking at. Women in MAGA hats were literally fucking praying on their hands and knees for God to deliver a victory for Trump outside of the counting center in Las Vegas two days after the 2020 election. You have to have something seriously wrong with you if you think a judge is going to see that and say “Yeah, we should bring that inside while the workers are trying to tabulate the vote.”
