Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the man who never met an abuse of power he did not like, topped former White House resident and future indictee Donald Trump in a straw poll at the Western Conservative Summit held in Colorado, Fox News reports.
The result of the straw poll demonstrates further the divide within the conservative movement between people who want to move on from the disastrous leadership of Trump, who led the Party down a path of conspiracy, authoritarianism and self-promotion, to follow the growing popularity of DeSantis, who will lead the Party down a different path of conspiracy, authoritarianism and self-promotion.
The Western Conservative Summit brings people from the western United States together for a conference that is not as popular, nor a whackadoodle, as the CPAC convention, which was held in Hungary this year because America First.
