Why? Can barely type this right now, it’s a struggle to stop laughing long enough to complete this sentence, let alone another two or three to wrap up this article. Holy freaking shit…
Now maybe it wasn’t a prank call, maybe Herring isn’t a drunken maniac tweeting something he hallucinated, maybe Elon Musk really is interested. That would require him to assume the future liability OAN faces in defamation suits from Dominion and Smartmatic over the 2020 election that have a very high probability of prevailing and a channel that just a few months ago lost millions of households after being dropped by DirecTV. Elon Musk is a deranged asshole, so we’re not going to discount the possibility this is real. What if anything this means in terms of his already shaky Twitter purchase is unknown, obviously it’s not out of the question he could buy both. Or maybe just OAN, seeing as how he’d get a cool social network in the package too. No bots on that one.
