Green Day debuts pro-America First slogan during European tour

California punk band Green Day debuted a new pro-America backdrop for its set during its European tour which started last week in Germany. Lambasting Senator Ted Cruz (R-Quintana Roo), the band’s sign says “Fuck Ted Cruz” in large pink letters. Green Day has not backed away from politically-targeted barbs in the past, performing the anti-Iraq invasion song “American Idiot” and other songs during the George W. Bush administration.
