The latest large group of migrants making their way through Mexico–which Fox cable hosts have described as the Invasion of the Southern Border has been disbanded by the Mexican government about 900 miles from the Texas border, Reuters reports.
The Mexican government reached an agreement with the organizers of the group to legalize their status in Mexico and redirect them to immigration offices in Chiapas. The migrants in the group are primarily from Central America, Haiti and Venezuela.
During the Summit of the Americas recently held in Los Angeles, the Canadian and American governments agreed to accept more guest workers. The Trump administration had handcuffed a number of US industries by limiting the number of Mexican, Central American and South American guest workers, even as business owned by Donald Trump and his family requested hundreds of guest worker visas for their operations.
