Turns out all that shit talk about a surge in the French parliamentary elections promised by the fanboys after President Emmanuel Macron defeated far right wing Nazi Marine Le Pen to win a second term was just that, as the Associated Press projects his centrist coalition will hang on to a majority of seats in the National Assembly, despite losing ground to a far-left coalition.
Le Pen’s far right National Rally party is projected to end up with anywhere 10 to 30 seats, a small gain from the eight they currently hold. Taking 15 or more would give the reich-wingers the ability to set up a parliamentary group, giving them a bit more power in the 577 seat chamber.
