One of the men who was seen on surveillance footage being led on a tour of the Capitol by MAGA Georgia Congressman Barry Loudermilk on January 5th, 2021 was also spotted on video threatening members of Congress outside the building the next day, Punchbowl News reports.
There’s no evidence the unidentified man – who has been interviewed by House January 6th Select Committee investigators – entered the Capitol or otherwise committed crimes during the insurrection or that Loudermilk’s tour was indeed “reconnaissance” as had been alleged, but it sure as shit further damages Loudermilk’s defense in which he at first denied giving a tour at all before claiming they were just constituents who happened to be in the area that day.
