While it’s been nearly a year and a half now since the New York Times first reported that federal prosecutors were investigating MAGA Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz for sex trafficking and still no charges have been brought against him, sources tell the Daily Beast the right wing asshole is not even close to out of the woods and the delay is owed to the sprawling nature of the investigation into Republican corruption in Florida that goes far beyond just Gaetz himself.

More simply, it appears there’s too much evidence, rather than too little, of crimes that Gaetz may or may not be directly connected to, but in which his associates are implicated including, per the Beast, “illicit real estate deals, embezzlement of federal COVID-19 paycheck assistance, a local Republican scheme to run ‘ghost’ candidates, a public corruption plot involving a number of powerful state figures, and ultimately the sex trafficking investigation” into Gaetz.

It seems likely that, had that one blackmail idiot not forced Gaetz and his dad to try and get out in front of it in March 2021, that the investigation into the degenerate would’ve continued largely under the media’s radar and libs would not be left feeling like the fucker is just going to get away with it (that said, some reporter almost certainly would’ve dug in and found it after Cassidy Hutchinson told the January 6th Committee Gaetz sought a pardon from Trump weeks before any of the other coup plotters did).
