“I talked to Herschel about this this morning, and I’ve known Herschel a good while,” expert on how to treat a woman Newt Gingrich stated on Trump advisor Sean Hannity’s Fox program. “Ah, I think he’s a remarkable person. I think he’s the most important Senate candidate in the country ’cause he’ll do more to change the Senate just by his presence, by his confidence, by his deep commitment to Christ by the degree to which he has– y’know, he’s been through a long tough period. He had a lot of concussions coming out of football. He suffered PTSD.”
The thrice-married Gingrich praising the serial philanderer and hypocrite for his “deep commitment to Christ” certainly warps reality. I mean, typically a “deep commitment to Christ” means a commitment to following the lessons of Christ, which neither of these men apparently know, not just proclaiming that you’re a “christian.”
And the fact that Walker had “a lot of concussions” and “suffered PTSD”–which I assume Gingrich meant CTE, Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a progressive brain condition that gets worse over time–means that Walker’s brain is scrambled and he may not be able to differentiate his crazed fantasies from reality… which makes him an ideal Republican.
