Ben Sasse to resign from Senate: report

Republican Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse will on Thursday announce his resignation from the US Senate to pursue to academic job, KFAB news reports. Sasse was among the seven Republican Senators who voted to convict disgraced former President Trump in his second impeachment trial. Other than that he did basically jack shit to oppose the rising fascism within the party. Fuck him.
