The Russian national security police, the FSB, has arrested eight individuals it says are responsible for the truck bomb that damaged the Kersh Bridge, the only over-road link between Russia and Crimea that Russia was using to bring supplies to its troops occupying Ukraine, NBC News reports.
Saying Ukraine’s military intelligence service and its chief, Kyrylo Budanov, was responsible for the attack, the FSB announced that it arrested five Russians and three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia it claims were the operatives who carried out the attack.
A press officer for Ukraine’s military intelligence service, Andrii Yusov, trolled Russia excellently, saying of Russia’s claims, “We are not commenting on the statements made by terrorists.”
