“OMG, they moved boxes”
– The current top comment on the Gateway Pundit article “LEAK: FBI Contacted Two Trump Aides About Mar-A-Lago Boxes; Second Staffer Identified,” posted late Friday night.
The commenter and all the readers who upvoted them and/or replied in agreement are pretty much spot on when you purposely ignore the entirety of the rest of the pertinent information. People move boxes around all the time. Hell, some folks even have jobs that are almost solely moving boxes around warehouses or retail stores and what not. There’s nothing childish or overly simplistic about thinking that it’s not a big deal for Trump’s staffers to have done so at his direction when your personal politics and affinities demand you unconditionally reject the whole of the circumstances in which the box-moving is alleged to have occurred. The “OMG” in particular helps drive home an acidic derision toward those media libs who would “flip out” over the reporting’s implications when they consider the box-moving’s place in a sequence of events.
