A new Politico/Morning Consult survey puts Democrats ahead of Republicans 47 to 42 percent on the generic congressional ballot, also finding President Biden’s approval rating at 43 percent to 55 percent disapprove. Politico notes that among the respondents who say they “somewhat disapprove” of Biden, Dems lead on the generic ballot 44 percent to the MAGA party’s 35 percent.
