Wisconsin Assembly speaker to testify to January 6 Committee

Robin Vos, Republican Speaker of the Wisconsin state Assembly, who last summer said fat former President Trump called him demanding to overturn the 2020 election result in the state (which isn’t actually possible), will testify Wednesday to the House January 6th Committee, NBC News reports.

Vos had tried to weasel out of testifying even after defeating a MAGA primary challenger sent by Trump. It’s not clear why he’s sitting now after trying to fight the subpoena.
