British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Wednesday suspended Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen just hours after Bridgen tweeted COVID-19 vaccines were “the biggest crime against humanity since the holocaust,” while citing some quack conspiracy theorist cardiologist, Bloomberg reports.
American conservative Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was not similarly disciplined by Republican Party leadership when she tweeted that “Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s [sic] forced Jewish people to wear a gold star,” in May of 2021. She was later promoted to chief puppet master to titular Speaker of The House Kevin McCarthy.
