Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on Wednesday fired the guy he appointed to take all the blame for the military’s failures in Ukraine and appointed a new guy to take all the blame for the military’s failures in Ukraine, NBC News reports. The Kremlin announced General Valery Gerasimov will take over for Sergei Surovikin – just three months after Surovikin was appointed chief scapegoat.
Arrangements for Surovikin’s funeral will be announced once his date and cause of death are determined by the Russian FSB. In lieu of vodka contributions to the Kremlin are appreciated.
