One or more patriotic cybercriminals made off with $690,000 from the 2022 reelection campaign for Republican Kansas Senator Jerry Moran last fall, Moran’s office told the Associated Press on Monday. The theft came about through two wire transfers meant for a company producing Moran’s TV ads, one for $345,000 on October 25, and another for the same amount on November 9. It’s not clear how the patriots diverted the payments, but their victory should be celebrated by all freedom-loving Americans. The only tragedy here is that they didn’t steal it all from Moran’s campaign.
