Huh. This whole campaign promise to “build a defensive cordon to protect the United States from external threats” thing sure sounds awfully familiar, doesn’t it? Could swear he said something kind of similar to this like seven years ago. Maybe the details were different but the basic outline was the same. There was a big thing about it. Wall-to-wall coverage in the news. Think he talked a lot about forcing another country to pay for it too. How’d that work out anyway? Did end up getting built?
