Officials have identified the shooter who killed three and injured at least five during a shooting spree at two Michigan State University buildings as 43-year-old Anthony McRae, the Associated Press reports, noting that investigators have not identified a motive.
“We have absolutely no idea what the motive was,” said Chris Rozman, deputy chief of campus police. Rozman said officers from MSU, local police and state law enforcement were involved in the search that ended when McRae canceled himself after being confronted by police.
