In the Tuesday ruling roping former Vice President Mike Pence in to testify to the grand jury investigating fat former President Trump’s January 6th, 2021 coup plot, Judge James Boasberg bought Pence’s argument that he should be allowed to skip the questions pertaining to his role as president of the Senate during the Electoral College count session under the Speech and Debate clause, but voided any claim to executive privilege covering his conversations with the Orange God Emperor in the lead-up. Pence doesn’t seem too worried about answering those particular questions about what happened in the White House as that was Trump’s fight, not his.
