Simpsons clips included in Fox's defense exhibits

Among the defense exhibits for Fox News in its trial against Dominion Voting Systems are four clips from The Simpsons, the long-running animated TV series formerly produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio was bought up by Disney, NBC News reports while adding they have no idea why.

The four clips are the “Treehouse of Horror XIX” in which Homer attempts to vote for Barack Obama, another one of him voting in 2012, a 2016 YouTube short featuring Putin disguising himself as an American and trying to convince Homer to vote for Trump, and “Treehouse of Horror XXXI” where Homer deciding between Trump and Biden. Fox did not explain why they included the clips.
