Oath Keeper Meggs sentenced to 12 years in federal prison

Oath Keeper Kelly Meggs, one of the leaders of the group convicted of seditious conspiracy among other charges, was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison Thursday, the third longest sentence for a January 6th defendant to date, NBC’s Ryan Reilly reports. The group’s leader Stewie Rhodes was sentenced to 17 years earlier Thursday. The second longest: Peter Schwartz from Kentucky.
