Jack Smith asks Cannon to delay Trump trial to December

Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith on Friday filed a motion requesting shitty MAGA Judge Aileen Cannon delay the start of disgraced former President Trump’s federal criminal trial for stealing and hoarding classified documents to December 11, 2023. It’s not clear why exactly Smith’s team made this request, however Cannon’s proposed August start was obviously pretty ambitious and unrealistic, so it could be that Smith just wants all the anticipated delays out of the way.
