Judge announces YouTube streaming channel for Trump hearings

Brendan Keefe of Atlanta First News reports that Georgia Judge Scott McAfee confirmed that all courtroom proceedings relating to the racketeering trial of Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants will be broadcast on a live YouTube stream, giving the public unparalleled and un-spun transparency into the trial.

This decision plays into the effort of a number of defendants to remove their case to federal court where they would still be prosecuted by Fulton County DA Fani Willis using Georgia law, but federal rules would likely prohibit broadcasts of the hearings.
