Florida Republican Congressman not accused of child sex trafficking (as far as we know) Byron Donalds got called out in realtime by New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for fraudulently editing a text exchange between an obviously strung-out Hunter Biden and his uncle Jim, the President’s brother.
Donalds only featured the second half of a discussion the pair had in which Hunter sounded hopeless about his family and financial situation, and his uncle attempting to be supportive, saying he would work with Hunter’s father to resolve some issues:
12/29/2018: wa messages between SM and James B., SM says, “I can work when I’m in NYC all day every day for the next 3 months from 8-12z But I can’t pay alimony w/o Dad or tuitions or for food and gas. Really it’s all gone. I can go make it up in 15/20 days I’m sure, but he’s basically made it clear that he’s not paying alimony b/c Mom made clear that she won’t do it. I can work with you father alone !! We as usual just need several months of his help for this to work. Let’s talk about it. It makes perfect sense to me. This is difficult to fully vet without talking. Will you please call me on w/A. We can develope a plan together. It can work. I’m going to try to call yo again please Ans. I can and I will. It’s craven and callous to leave out the plea for help that preceded the highlighted text, taken out of context. And it’s a really boneheaded move, given the Internet Era means the full text would come out eventually showing a caring family bond, not greedy corruption. Donalds just got called out by a smart, attentive colleague who was unafraid to call out his lies to his face.
