Cops in the southwest Siberian city of Tobolsk have more or less already wrapped up their investigation into the falling death of the town’s deputy to parliament, finding “no sign of criminal death on the body” of Vladimir Egorov after he plunged from a third-story window of his home onto the front lawn on Wednesday, the New York Post reports citing posts on Telegram.
“One of the most likely reasons is heart problems,” said a local news outlet, failing to follow through on how cardiac issues would prompt a politician to jump out of a window.
