Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will be hosting a gathering of her main donors as a way of thanking them for their support, the Associated Press reports while addressing the question of what she’s going to tell them about the general election: Sources say Haley will not be endorsing fat former President Trump nor will she be encouraging her fans to vote for him next week.
There’s still plenty of time left for Haley to do what (most of) the rest of them have done and make an about-face so who knows. We don’t want to predict one way or the other how she’ll weigh in but maybe the best to hope for is just a milquetoasty write-in vote like Romney and Pence have pushed.
