Majorities of voters who turned out in Gregory, Haakon, and Tripp counties in South Dakota rejected bans on the use of electronic ballot tabulators Tuesday, the Argus Leader reports on yet another defeat for the “Stop the Steal” douchebags after nearly four years of misery for them.
Tripp County Auditor Barb Sersa welcomed the win, but did not expect the “hand count only” assholes to give up the fight to make her job harder with the unrealistic demands. “It’s just such a hassle. I’m sure they’ll keep fighting. It’s so much work for my office and my girls, and the stress is just so much. It can be highly frustrating on our end,” Sersa told the Leader. Though the wins were clear enough, turnout was low for the concurrent primaries in the three counties – between 34 and 40 percent – and the conspiracy freaks will probably try again if and when they can.
“We’ve lost a battle, but the war still goes on as far as the hand count goes,” said MAGA activist Steve McCance, who led the petition drive for the referendum in Gregory County.
