“President Trump has done more for rural Americans than any President and will continue to deliver for the people of this country, once we work together to ensure him a win back to the White House.”
“President Trump understands the critical role the United States’ rural and agricultural community plays in feeding not only its citizens, but the world. President Trump knows how important rural Americans are to powering the US economy. I am excited to continue working with our agriculture and rural leaders across the county, and I am proud to stand with President Trump to defend the everyday rural American against Kamala Harris and the radical left,” says a statement from the Trump campaign attributed to “Rural Americans for Trump Coalition National Chairman, 2016 Agricultural and Rural Advisory Committee National Chairman, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Conklin Company Inc, and 5th-generation farmer at Herbster Angus Farms Charles W Herbster.”
If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Herbster was Trump’s endorsed candidate in the 2022 Nebraska gubernatorial primary who lost after reporting that he was an Ashley Madison user (lol) and a serial female genitalia-grabber, with one of his accusers a sitting state Senator.
And if the group’s name “Rural Americans for Trump” sounds redundant, it’s because it is. Might as well be “Bees for the Queen” or “Socialists for Bernie Sanders” or “Incel weirdos for Ted Cruz.”
