Based on the bitchy wording of a filing from convicted felon former President Trump’s piece of shit lawyers, it would seem like a public unsealing of evidence against the fat fuck in the DC coup attempt conspiracy case is imminent and very soon, maybe even hours. From the filing:
There should be no further disclosures at this time of the so-called ‘evidence’ that the Special Counsel’s Office has unlawfully cherry-picked and mischaracterized – during early voting in the 2024 Presidential election – in connection with an improper Presidential immunity filing that has no basis in criminal procedure or judicial precedent. President Trump maintains his objections based on overt and inappropriate election interference, violations of longstanding DOJ policy, the Office’s previous safety-related representations in this District and the Southern District of Florida, grand jury secrecy, and the influence on potential witnesses and jurors of prejudicial pretrial publicity – which predictably followed from the filing of the redacted ‘Motion for Immunity Determinations.’
If the Court decides to release additional information relating to the Office’s filing, in the Appendix or otherwise, President Trump respectfully requests that the Court stay that determination for a reasonable period of time so that President Trump can evaluate litigation options relating to the decision.
Last week’s actual filing was a bit underwhelming (a lot of what the media treated as new was actually previously reported). The actual evidence exhibits themselves will absolutely pack more of a punch than Smith’s (necessarily) dry description of it… The other aspect of the filing that NOTUS’s Jose Pagliery flags is that “Donald Trump’s lawyers just warned Judge Chutkan in DC that if she releases Jack Smith’s appendix to his recent report, they’ll consider ‘litigation options.’ Like, suing the judge? Or Smith? Or seeking dismissal of the entire case based on that release? It’s notable that the judge had to order the court clerk to put this on the public docket. Trump’s lawyers were directed to file this under seal. It seems like they did. But the judge must have thought, there’s nothing secret here,” which sounds like he sees this as Team Orange going into desperation mode.
