Central Floridians who enjoy watching alligator and crocodiles massacre pumpkins take notice: The Orlando Sentinel reports that this Sunday local tourist trap Gatorland will holds its Great Pumpkin Toss in which for three-plus hours the aquatic reptiles will savagely annihilate the plump orange vegetables to the joy of spectators. The zoo’s capybaras, parrots, bobcats and Florida panthers will also be fed pumpkins, though the degree of enthusiasm with which they destroy them may vary.
“The sight of mighty jaws chomping down on pumpkins has proven to be a crowd pleaser over the years,” the Sentinel writes, citing Gatorland’s marketing team. Still sounds accurate nontheless.
