First THEY stole an election from him, then THEY tried to kill him! THEY won’t stop!
Seriously it’s almost certainly true that THEY are out to get Mozambican opposition leader Venancio Mondlane considering that THEY killed his party’s spokesman and top campaign lawyer and rigged the election against him. And the THEY here isn’t some vague Soros-Deep State-Jews-CIA-Illuminati-something, it’s Mozambique’s ruling Frelimo party, who really have disappeared people and done bad shit over nearly five decades of uncontested single-party rule in the African nation.
The BBC reports that Mondlane posted a Facebook video announcing he’s fled to South Africa and is still in “mortal danger” after he was forced to sneak out of his home with his wife and daughter, through a hair salon, and out on the street. The South African foreign ministry told the BBC they weren’t even aware the leader of the PODEMOS party was even in the country. From exile Mondlane has urged his fans to continue the general strike against Frelimo and it’s gotten a bit bloody.
Probably going to get bloodier with a “final march” planned against the regime on Thursday.
