What did Patronis do to earn this coveted honor? Our guess is when he announced he wanted to set up a fund that would cover Trump’s legal bills with taxpayer money. That probably did it.
UPDATE 11/25/2024 1:09 PM EST: Patronis accepted, tweeting “Put me to work, Mr President! I am ready to serve,” thus for a long time, probably forever, closing the door on a Gaetz comeback.
