House Republicans on Monday fed the final report on their investigation into the House January 6th Select Committee’s investigation, all 128 pages of single-spaced whataboutery and horseshit, to far right propagandist John Solomon’s lame website, pointing Solomon to the part where lead counter-investigator Georgia MAGA Congressman Barry Loudermilk, himself a credibly suspected fifth columnist, recommended Vice Chair Liz Cheney face federal charges for witness tampering.
“Evidence uncovered by the Subcommittee revealed that former Congresswoman Liz Cheney tampered with at least one witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, by secretly communicating with Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge. This secret communication with a witness is improper and likely violates 18 USC 1512. Such action is outside the due functioning of the legislative process and therefore not protected by the Speech and Debate clause,” wrote one of Loudermilk’s lackeys in a section highlighted by the former Hill opinion columnist’s current disinfo operation.
At no point in Solomon’s article does the name “Stefan Passantino” appear, because identifying him as that attorney whom Cheney was going around to communicate with Hutchinson would spoil the whole reason for it because that douchebag was the former Trump White House “ethics” attorney and was being paid to “represent” Hutchinson by Trump’s PAC. And the fucker definitely coached Hutchinson to avoid saying how the convicted felon president-elect had behaved the day of the insurrection he incited. Passantino is unavoidable for Loudermilk however, who introduces him by writing “Hutchinson could not afford an attorney, so she contacted two close allies of President Trump, Eric Herschmann and Alex Cannon, who secured attorney Stefan Passantino (‘Passantino’) to represent Hutchinson at no cost to her,” without mentioning then to whom that cost was.
Or that in September 2022 Hutchinson testified that Passantino had told her “No, no, no. We don’t want to go there. We don’t want to talk about that,” about the steering wheel incident prior to an interview with the committee earlier that year when he was still representing her. Loudermilk just bitches and complains that Cheney had tried to get Passantino disbarred for acting unethically.
Might’ve been smart to leave out the criminal referral part considering there are still 34 days left for current President Joe Biden to issue a pardon and close the door on “retribution” against her.
