Hey remember when the “Biden Regime” was making it impossible to build a home because lumber was too expensive, and even though it was difficult at best to make a correlation between his policies and the price spikes he still got blamed for it anyway? Well the same thing’s happening now, except Bloomberg reports that this new price increase is directly attributable to the fat fuck ordering the Commerce Department to “investigate the national security harm posed by lumber imports.”
Markets reacted immediately on Monday, putting the price up to about $675 per board foot, approaching the $700 high from mid-2022, on the Chicago Mercantile exchange.
