So in a way this is actually pretty consistent, now that the Nazi cat's out of the Afrikaner bag: The growing rift between Elon and Donald over tariffs has made its way into the programming imperatives of the "rapid response" bot. It would take a while to try to pinpoint exactly when the Git merge to get "DOGE AI" changed its tune on tariffs was effected on its repo, but there's zero doubt it could be found just by scrolling through its replies and reading them not all that closely.
