In yet another example of how the Trump Regime was full of shit about pretty much everything, the Daily Beast points out that the newly MAGAfied Kennedy Center’s 2025-2026 performance schedule features shows Chicago, Moulin Rouge!, Monty Python’s Spamalot, and Mrs Doubtfire all of which include the supposedly civilizational threat of drag performances, the last on the list’s entire plot centers on a man dressing up as a woman to spend time with his kids after a divorce.
The revelation of the schedule comes just over two and half months after convicted felon President Trump posted “At my direction, we are going to make the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, GREAT AGAIN. I have decided to immediately terminate multiple individuals from the Board of Trustees, including the Chairman, who do not share our Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture. We will soon announce a new Board, with an amazing Chairman, DONALD J TRUMP! Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth – THIS WILL STOP.”
