“If President Trump did anything remotely illegal with Jeffrey Epstein, Chris Wray, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and whoever ran the White House would have known about it and made it a campaign-killing issue last year. But they didn’t. Because it never happened” – Top comment on HotAir.com’s “Reactions to the Musk Trump Feud,” posted Thursday. Also the top comment here in this lengthy compilation because goddamn this one’s an all-time great requiring its own breakdown.
First off, what has been made public from previously sealed court documents about Epstein does in fact put Trump on Epstein’s plane several times, including a trip with Eric Trump on board. Then there’s allegations that Jeff had pics of Trump with topless underage girls (that was a a Michael Wolff story, so who knows), a lawsuit that claimed there was a sex tape of him with an adult woman, and there’s indicators that the fat bastard fought the unsealing in court early last year.
So there’s a lot of smoke – smoke that the fanboys obviously would never have had trouble saying there was a fire if this were anyone else. That guy who drowned at Obama’s mansion on Martha’s Vineyard? Murdered. Seth Rich? Assassinated. Patriot Front? FBI operation. We could be here all day listing them off. But that’s not the main problem with his comment. Also not the problem but still worth noting is that yes, as he points out, the Biden Admin did not dump the Epstein files either.
They sat on their asses while a court went through a painstakingly slow process of unsealing SOME of the information. Was that out of character for Team Biden? Uh, no. Fuck no. Not even close. They played by the “rules” and “process” as they saw them and their non-aggression is what got us here.
In tension with that and equally true is the main problem with the comment: Say Merrick Garland held a press conference in June 2023 and stood there at the podium with poster-sized copies of the pics of Trump with the faces and breasts of topless underage girls blurred out, holding up a stack of papers saying “These are the files from the FBI’s multiple investigations into Jeffrey Epstein and we have strong evidence that former President Trump was the victim of a blackmail scheme in which he engaged in sexual relations with underage female sex trafficking victims.” Do you think Trump fans would have saw that and said “Oh my God. I didn’t want it to be true, but here it is RIGHT in front of me. There’s no way those pics were photoshopped or generated by AI. All this testimony and these financial documents are ironclad. I’m so ashamed I ever supported that fucking monster”?
Lest that thought experiment take you more than 0.1 seconds, here’s some YouGov polling data on a similar enough question that could help guide you toward a conclusion.
The HotAir commenter guy was a lot less troubled by Ketamine Brain’s Epstein tweet than some of his fellow fanboys were after Ketamine Brain posted it on Thursday. Guess you can give him some “credit” for that. But first there was the initial “disgusting abomination” tweet that set this in motion.
BEFORE THE SCHISM
You may or may not have seen the draft version screenshot of these first few below comments National Zero had began compiling Tuesday after Musk tweeted his opposition to the Big Beautiful Bill. They actually really hate it. Not surprising. More surprising is that they’re being open about it:
“The fact is that, as much as the budget needs culling, the WH and the GOP never intended DOGE to actually reduce the deficit, it was always a political weapon to slash spending they deemed unworthy, and replacing it with spending they deemed worthy. This admin and the new GOP are not fiscal conservatives. They are convenient conservatives: they care about spending when the other party is trying to do something they dont agree with politically. Elon was always just a convenient patsy. Have him do the dirty work, look bad and take the heat, then he leaves and everyone forgets about him by the time midterms rolls around. When it comes to spending, GOP and Dems are two sides of the same coin: handouts” – Top comment on the Tuesday New York Post article “Elon Musk explodes on ‘big, beautiful bill’ days after leaving Trump admin: ‘Disgusting abomination’”
Federal spending has become excessive
The resulting inflation harms Americans
And weaponizes government
The Senate can make this bill better
It must now do so https://t.co/VMqP9h2Uvg

“Elon is right” – Top comment on the Gateway Pundit’s Tuesday story “Musk Slams Big Beautiful Bill, Calls it ‘a Disgusting Abomination’ – White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Responds.” That was all the convincing 145 other Gateway Pundit readers needed to click “like” on that comment.
“He is just being honest. Remove the pork” – Top comment on Breitbart’s story “Elon Musk Turns on Trump, Calls President’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ a ‘Disgusting Abomination’,” posted Tuesday. Notice this asshole not even naming something, anything he thinks qualifies as “pork” in the bill.
77 million Americans voted for DOGE cuts NOT Washington's wasteful spending.

“I agree with Musk here. It continues to add Covid level debt to our massive deficit, and we continue to run off a cliff. You need a combination of major cuts and a tax increase that is required to pay down the debt” – Top comment on the Tuesday Fox News article “White House stands by tax bill after Musk calls it a ‘disgusting abomination.’” Yeah, a Fox News fan actually called for higher taxes.
“Bad faith article, Jennifer. There’s nothing ‘debunked’ about the very real concerns he raised” – Top comment on RedState.com’s article “Elon Musk Re-Ups His Debunked Concerns About Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’.” RedState.com content bot Jennifer Van Laar wrote “Elon’s disagreement has morphed into something different and I can’t quite put my finger on it yet. There’s some reason he’s actively working to sabotage Trump, and in time it’ll become clear. For now, it’s just puzzling. He already made his position on the bill clear, so why go to this extreme now and personally attack those who voted for it and claim they have bad motives,” which counted as “Bad faith” to the commenter, lol.
THURSDAY: EPSTEIN-NACHT
Some of these comments were written on Thursday, a few of them on Friday since some right wing media sites can be pretty goddamned slow with picking up the stories that make the Trump Regime and the man himself look bad. Either way these are the freshest reactions on their respective sites.
“All eyes will be on the release of the epstein files. He won’t be in there. lol It’s all a show. I’m loving it” – Top Trump-Epstein-related post on QAnon fan site GreatAwakening.win from Thursday.
“Traveling on Epstein’s Plane doesn’t mean you are a sick Pedo Freak like Biden, Clinton’s and Barry!!! Trump MAGA!” – Top comment on Breitbart’s Thursday story “Musk Takes Shot at Trump, Claims Epstein Files Have Not Been Made Public Because Trump is in Them.” Love the whole “limited hangout” of this, like other Breitbart readers needed to be sold on why the smoke doesn’t mean fire.
Now that’s a real dilemma 😂😂😂 https://t.co/i437xVZugT

“There has to be something other than the BBB as to why Elon has made these comments. Elon has been very involved in Trump’s meetings with many members of congress so was well aware as to what the BBB entailed. I loved watching the bond that the two of them shared. It was obvious that the President appreciated all of the work that Elon was doing with DOGE. The comments made today make me sad” – Top comment on Fox News’s Thursday article “‘Gone too far’: GOP lawmakers rally around Trump after Musk raises Epstein allegations.” There is something other than the BBB, and that something very well could be that Trump is implicated in Epstein’s sex trafficking. That and the whole breakup thing should be very sad and depressing to Trump fans indeed.

“Sad. Musk did great work ferreting out the corruption in government. I wish that this could have been settled behind the scenes between him and president Trump. Musk put so much on the line to assist the president. his should not have gone bad” – Top comment on the Daily Caller’s Thursday evening story “EXCLUSIVE: White House Insiders Vent On Big Beautiful Breakup, Reveal Elon’s Final Straw.” This is probably similar to how Elon’s oldest kids felt when he divorced their mom.
“I had something of a jarring moment this morning when I looked at my engagement calendar. Many previous calendars I’ve had have noted D-Day on June 6th. This one had no mention of that, but only that ‘Eid al-Adha begins at sundown.’ Take from that what you will” – Top comment on Power Line’s Friday morning article “Ordeal of Omaha Beach.” The small right wing site by that point hadn’t even covered Musk’s tweet trashing the Big Beautiful Bill, let alone the Trump-Epstein one. They REALLY wanted to talk about something else and their boomer readers happily obliged.
Everything is going to be fine.
Donald Trump is President.
Life is good.

“Occam’s razor, people. Musk is angry because he’s an idealist, and the BBB didn’t got nearly as far as he wanted. Which is true. Musk is one of the most extraordinary men of the past half century. His entrepreneurship is reminiscent of the great developers and inventors of 150 years ago: Edison or Ford. And what he did with Twitter over the past three years changed the course of politics. But he’s also an immature narcissist, who’s probably somewhat autistic who it comes to regulating his emotions. I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought he could control Trump, and fell out of love with him when he discovered he couldn’t. My prediction: Musk and Trump will make up publicly within months. Because they are both volatile emotionally, and zag from one extreme to the other. And despite what people say about Trump holding grudges, he only does so when the person really is his enemy. Which Musk is not. Also, breaking with Trump won’t win leftists back for Musk. Leftists do hold grudges. Forever” – Top comment on a Friday Instapundit post linking to the Thursday PJ Media article “Musk Goes Nuclear on Trump, But Something Isn’t Adding Up.” Reminder that this is from a Trump voter who proudly supports a pair of immature, emotionally volatile narcissists.
“Wake Me Up From This Trump/Musk Nightmare” – The headline of PJ Media columnist Matt Margolis’s Thursday night piece, printed a few hours after the above one linked from Instapundit, when something wasn’t “adding up.” L-o-fucking-L what a twat. “I have to be honest and tell you that my heart sank when I saw that President Trump and Elon Musk were going at it on Thursday,” Margolis wrote and goddamn that is so sad. Also sad and funny is the QAnon-ish top comment: “Oh, ye of little faith. I have faith that Trump is buying cover for Musk with a made-up fight. Best of all, it seems to be working.” Trust the plan to declare checkmate in the 5D chess game against “THEM.”
STEADY EVERYONE.
Our @POTUS is @realDonaldTrump

I do wish they would please take the public debate elsewhere. The world is already chaotic enough. AND there is so much more work for the United States Government to do for its citizens. We have monumental challenges… https://t.co/V4nscLb5RT

“Whatever…we’re 36 trillion in debt and this Will add somewhere around 2 trillion a year…dog with fleas…and the 1.6 trillion in cuts is over 10 years…nice try spinning” – Former top comment on Revolver News’s “Stephen Miller goes scorched earth for Trump’s BBB,” posted Friday morning. Former top comment because it was sank by downvotes after it was pasted into a draft here.
“Elon and DOGE have done some great work, but this doesn’t help solve anything. I get that he’s disillusioned with Republicans – as we all are – but burning bridges gets you nowhere. I also highly doubt that Trump is on the Epstein files, as if he was they would’ve been released under the Biden Administration. Also, the implication that Musk knew about it means he didn’t care, so why say it now? Makes no sense. I don’t think the majority of people really care about the Epstein files, regardless – I just want the country to be free of the corrupt uniparty running everything” – Top comment on the Thursday New York Post article “Elon Musk drops ‘really big bomb,’ accuses Trump of being in Epstein files as public brawl escalates.” Ugghhhhhhhh man. Again, a lot of overlap with the one at the top of this article, but this asshole takes the illogic further. “Also, the implication that Musk knew about it means he didn’t care, so why say it now? Makes no sense,” as if there’s no history whatsoever of people like Michael Cohen and Cassidy Hutchinson coming forward with damning, embarrassing shit about Donald his loyalists after they got deprogrammed.
FRIDAY: FOR WANT OF DETENTE
Fox News at 6:00 AM EDT Friday after that initial Politico report that turned out to be bullshit.
“GOOD FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP!! The last thing you ever want to do is give the time of day to someone who posts online the insinuations that you are a s@x trafficker” – Top comment on The Gateway Pundit article “White House Aides Working to Schedule Phone Call Between President Trump and Elon Musk for Friday… Update: Trump ‘Not Interested’ in Speaking to Musk.” The timestamp on the article is 8:00 AM CDT on Friday but the “Oldest” comment under it was not until 9:07 AM. Mentioning that because the “update” appended to the headline would’ve made it seem like the story was actually updated. Thus it’s quite possible the Pundit deleted an hour’s worth of comments from their asshole readers expressing relief that the two were patching things up, lol.
“As usual, the democrats are being played. It is highly unlikely that Trump did anything wrong with Epstein, yet the democrats are willing to sacrifice many of their own by releasing the Epstein list. This is classic TDS (a mental disease)” – Top comment on the Friday BizPacReview article “Dems NOW want Epstein files to be released in stunning flip-flop.” It’s almost like BizPacReview didn’t do any research – they would’ve found that last month Congressman Dan Goldman wrote to scumbag Pam Bondi saying in not so few words the very same accusation that Musk had tweeted – and that the dickhead commenter really wants Democrats to call that bet. He does not. At all.
— Jack Poso 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) June 6, 2025
“Musk went way overboard” – Top comment on TownHall’s “There’s Been an Update About That Reported Phone Call Between Trump, Musk Following Feud,” timestamped “June 06, 2025 9:30 AM,” two hours and 35 minutes after “Peace Deal? Trump and Elon Reportedly Will Reportedly Talk Today.” Love how the first headline was written, like they needed to break it to their readers gently.
SATURDAY: DELETED, STILL HEATED
“My respect for Elon just came back – like magic. Thank you, Elon. The next move should be President Trump’s to meet Elon half-way and make this thing ‘right’ again” – Top comment on the Saturday OAN article “Musk deletes post claiming Trump was ‘in the Epstein files,’ takes back threat to withdraw Dragon spacecraft.” Holy fuck these freaking mental cripples.
“Musk removing some of the tweets is a start, but like anyone who says words they either regret or shouldn’t have said out of anger also should apologize. But at least he realizes he went too far. Now for trumps turn… doesn’t look like he has much grace or forgiveness. If he is a Christian, he needs to examine his own heart about his responses” – Top comment on the Right Scoop article “BREAKING: Trump says he believes relationship with Elon Musk is over; Musk deletes angry tweets about Trump,” posted Saturday. Just gonna leave it off there to close this out strong. It’s perfect.
