A new survey of Texas GOP primary voters by Texas Southern University’s Barbara Jordan Public Policy Research and Survey Center finds Picasso-faced Attorney General Ken Paxton leading “RINO” incumbent Senator John Cornhole Cornyn 44 to 39 percent in a head-to-head in the 2026 primary and 35 to 30 percent with Congressman Wesley Hunt at 22 percent in a hypothetical three-way, an improvement for Cornyn over the May finding from TSU of Paxton leading 43 to 34 percent.
So the race is tightening but Emerson was still kind of full of shit with their Cornyn 30 – Pax 29 poll.
