New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a federal grand jury for bank fraud in Virginia on Thursday, the second of convicted felon President Trump’s retribution targets to face some pretty stretchy charges, the Guardian reports. Insurance lawyer-turned-acting-US Attorney for Virginia’s Eastern District Lindsey Halligan personally presented to the grand jury, a move said to be extremely unusual and indicative that none of the actual prosecutors on her team wanted to do it.
