Rather than just buy ad space and targeting the ad spending where the people who are supposed to be voting for him live, the Senate GOP’s main PAC decided it was too much paperwork and decided to run the pro-Ken Paxton PAC ads in about 49 other states on Sunday, according to various reports.
“Pro-Paxton Texas PAC seems to have bought nationwide ad time on Fox instead of trying to target all the markets showing Cowboys/Texans — so their ads are running on Eagles/Rams, Packers/Bucs and Jets/Bears as well… Given how big Texas is (20+ markets) I wouldn’t be surprised if this is actually the cheaper option. Pretty sure groups were buying national ads for Texas/Ohio State two weeks ago,” writes Inside Elections’ Jacob Rubashkin with a theory on why the assholes are doing it.
