Liberal candidate Milwaukee Judge Janet Protasiewicz has clinched a spot on the ballot in the apocalyptic April 4th Wisconsin state Supreme Court race, Decision Desk HQ projects.
Protasiewicz is in a four-way officially non-partisan top-two primary against fellow lefty Everett Mitchell, right wing psychopath Jennifer Dorow, and MAGA asshole former Justice Dan Kelly who lost his seat in spring 2020. The race is getting massive national attention as it’s the best chance Dems have to flip the court’s current 4-3 conservative majority and nuke the Reich’s badly gerrymandered state legislative and congressional maps, as well as protect the right to abortion in the state. There’s also that the court came within one vote of taking up disgraced former President Trump’s challenge to the outcome of the 2020 election in the state. So yeah, it’s pretty important.
