“The only way all this corruption ends is if you start executing the people who are corrupt after their trials and conviction. Everyone has to know there will be consequences for selling out the country”
– The current top comment on the Gateway Pundit article “#ARRESTKATIEHOBBS Trending On Twitter Following EXPLOSIVE Claims That Sinaloa Cartel Uses Money Laundering, Bribes To Control Katie Hobbs And Others,” posted Sunday morning and goddamn there’s a lot to unpack here.
Because even before the comment – its characteristic bloodthirst and the cognitive dissonance of a Gateway Pundit reader calling for “consequences for selling out the country” after years of such sins committed openly and brazenly by the Trump-Kushner Regime – or the article it appears under, with the headline saying “#ARRESTKATIEHOBBS” is merely trending, a self-generated permission slip to propagate the defamatory claims while not necessarily owning them – there’s the batshit conspiracy itself where a sitting governor is accused of colluding with a murderous drug cartel.
It all started Thursday when a State Farm insurance agent named Jacqueline Breger testified to a joint hearing by the Arizona State House and Senate Election Committees, claiming that her boyfriend, a far right local attorney named John Thaler, had uncovered evidence of some sort of housing deed scheme in with Hobbs and dozens of state and local Arizona officials and judges had laundered money for the Sinaloa cartel and then something something election fraud. Breger said all the evidence will be in a book that Thaler will publish soon, according to the Arizona mirror.
That’s not even half of the shit this maniac – who was invited by MAGA state lawmakers – said to a legislative hearing on elections. It’s just all we can cram into the bottom of an article that was supposed to be about yet another hypocritical comment written by a Gateway Pundit reader.
